I have walked 60 miles for suicide prevention to honor Laurie. I have sky dived twice, visited South Africa, Malaysia, worked with Student Impact 5 years, lead small groups who have experienced child loss at Grief Support and have a blessed life. God is with me.

It's funny...I moved about a year ago to Marengo (lots of newly developed homes...and farm land...and an hour away from Harper-haha) and not once have I ever seen a Cardinal...I know about your Cardinal stories and I think that's amazing how God sends out stuff like that. Well, on Saturday I was thinking about my dream, Laurie, and God...and I saw a Cardinal! And I thought about you and your stories and it made me smile! :-)
Taking pictures is tons of fun and how funny that all seemed to tie into my dream as well! I cannot wait to get a digital camera...I'd be using it quite frequently! :-)

First of all - way to go Barb! You are crazy awesome - doing all of your training... losing 20 pounds etc. That is so great. I am so glad that there have been positive effects for you-- I am excited for this event! Well, somewhat nervous about my feet falling off, but overall excited that we can all do this together in Laurie's name and contribute awareness and funds towards such a vital cause. Love you!
