I have walked 60 miles for suicide prevention to honor Laurie. I have sky dived twice, visited South Africa, Malaysia, worked with Student Impact 5 years, lead small groups who have experienced child loss at Grief Support and have a blessed life. God is with me.

hey barb i just wanted you to know reading your blog and im thinking about you!
i was reading about the Entry about the TEEN CAMP 2005 entry, and how you were praying for us, and those jorunals. I have one, and its been in my possession for about a year and i first brought it to college with me. I loved that thing until finally it broke so i just kept it close with me. But that was awesome in knowing that while i was @ camp you were praying for me.
Barb, I have written before and told you what an inspiration to me your story has become. I visit it almost daily now to read everyone's blogs. In my professional life yesterday a 15 year old client decided to take his own life, and immediately my thoughts went to you and your family and all I have read for the past few months here on your site. I intend to gather all that I have learned here and share with this family the inspiration that I have found in the words from a family that has "been there". Thank you.
